SPIBA Environment, Health and Safety Committee
The Environment, Health and Safety Committee was established in January 2009 as a result of great interest from SPIBA members in environmental issues relating to investment activities. The committee is responsible for efforts to address challenges relating to environmental, health and safety issues.
The functions of the committee are to

Identify, evaluate and monitor social and environmental trends, issues and concerns that could affect business activities in Russia

Promote effective environmental, health and security standards and practices within companies operating in Russia

Assist members in fulfilling their responsibilities regarding environment, health and security matters in compliance with legal and regulatory obligations

Participate actively in the development of responsible laws, regulations and standards regarding EHS issues

Communicate and exchange information openly
