On Wednesday, July 7th, 2010, SPIBA held HR Committee meeting “Face To Face With Trade Unions”
Moderator: Oksana Pochtivaya, co-chairperson of SPIBA HR Committee, HR director, AVANTA Personnel.
Maria Artukhina, Director of Social Partnership Department of the Federation of Trade Unions of St.Petersburg and Leningrad Region, the Honored Economist of the RF was invited as a guest speaker from the Trade Unions. Ms. Artukhina made a report on Tripartite Agreement between the Government of St. Petersburg, The Federation of Trade Unions of St. Petersburg and LR and the Regional Association of Employers' Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg.
Anna Ivanova, Lawyer in Baker & McKenzie, made a presentation on ”Interaction with Trade Unions”.
In conclusion, Anna Gurevich, general director of “Knowledge and Skills” shared information about the Results of Round Table on the interaction of HR leaders and Trade Unions.

SPIBA’s HR Committee has organized a meeting with leaders of the State Labour Inspectorate:
Ayshat Adzheniazova, Chief State Labour Inspector of legal affairs,
Olga Litsukova, State Labour Inspector of legal affairs.
Participants got acquainted with Labour inspection structure, its activity and latest initiatives. The following actual topics were discussed:
- The general rules and order of carrying out of Labour inspection checks
- Rules of foreign workers employment
- Interaction with trade unions
- The working in shifts schedules, the summarised counting of working hours
We thank everybody for active participation.
On Thursday, 29th of April the HR Committee met to discuss changes on Labor market 2009-2010 and approaches to HR practices during crisis period. Two presentations were made:

Participants discussed cooperation with state employment agency, employment of foreign citizens, personnel efficiency, considered and have chosen few most actual topics for next discussions:
- Meeting with Head of Labor and Employment Inspection of St.Petesburg (May 26, 2010 - to be confirmed),
- Innovation in the migration policy 2010: pluses and minuses,
- Outsoursing - legislative base, risks, checks of Labor and Employment Inspection,
- HR functions - new tendencies compared with traditional duties. Innovations in HR.
