Lecture will be held in the Assembly hall of the St.-Petersburg State University of Economy and Finance (Sadovaya street, 21, enter from emb. of Griboedova kanal). Mr. Masaaki Imai, the author of books widely known all over the world about industrial philosophy Kaizen was invited to St.-Petersburg by company JTI.

Kaizen is one of key world concepts of management. For the first time principles Kaizen have been applied in a number of the Japanese companies in restoration after the Second World War. It is considered, that due to application of principles of continuous improvement there was «a Japanese economic miracle».

Masaaki Imai became the first-ever distributor of philosophy Kaizen as mentality and the action aimed at innovations. His legendary book «Kaizen: a key to success of Japanese companies», published in 1986, has been translated on 20 languages. Institute Kaizen based in 1985 by Mr. Imai, has representations in 14 countries in the world.

Today companies working worldwide use Kaizen principles to increase the efficiency of capacity use of the enterprise, modernization of processes, improvements of quality of production and profit increase in with the least expenses and efforts.
