Regulators and courts in all corners of the world are taking a more serious look at how companies comply with the law on processing personal data.
Legislation in many countries is being added to and increasingly seeks to impact on international activities – the most prominent example being the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) passed by the EU, the breaching of which can result in substantial fines for companies located not only in the EU but all over the world.
At the event, we will compare Russian regulations with those from abroad, identify the types of companies which are at greater risk of being affected by the regulations and provide recommendations to businesses on what they need to do.
